Light City Carshare is an electric vehicle sharing system, bringing new, clean, connected transportation options to Buffalo, starting on the East Side.
Launching as a Clean Mobility Buffalo project—funded by NYSERDA under the New York Clean Transportation Prizes Program—Light City Carshare’s operations are powered through strategic partnership with Zev Co-op, guided by the organization’s experience and built on its trusted platform. Light City’s goal is straightforward: Bring an innovative, sustainable electric vehicle transportation option to Buffalo’s East Side. Being a Light City Member-Driver delivers 24/7 convenient and affordable access to a carshare that puts everyone in the driver’s seat.
Together, we’re advancing a bold vision for Light City Carshare to become an independent co-operative, driven by community, and leading the movement towards health, happiness, progress, and possibilities for Buffalo’s East Side. Program Directors
Bree-Ana Dukes
Director of Internal Operations
Bree-Ana Dukes is a Rochester, NY native and previously managed Rochester’s first fully electric carsharing system. While serving in this role she had the opportunity to collaborate and work alongside Miocar leadership. Bree-Ana’s professional interests include advancing community-centered clean mobility options, intersectional environmentalism, and circular economies. Her personal interests include wellness through movement and her yoga practice, being outdoors connecting with nature, and supporting the arts.
Sinclair McGuffin
Director of External Operations
Sinclair McGuffin is a proud Buffalo native and External Ops Manager Sinclair previously was the Outreach Specialist at GO Buffalo Niagara where they planned events, did onsite outreach, and served as a transportation coordinator to worksites, organizations, properties and commuters. They are graduates of both UB’s Center of Entrepreneurial Leadership Emerging Entrepreneurs program and Cooperation Buffalo’s Cooperative Changemaker Fellowship. In their personal life Sinclair enjoys photography, being outside on their ebike or longboard, and attending events with friends.
Harvey Miles
Director of Microtransit
Harvey Miles, is the Training Coordinator at Green Force, which is an organization with a mission to build a talented, skilled, and loyal workforce, while contributing to the economic health and resilience of Buffalo communities. Harvey is integral in the building and operations of a pilot microtransit end-to-end transportation system with the sole purpose of transporting employees to two initial employer partners located outside of a feasible public transit route in the surrounding suburbs
